  Gender equality is a top priority issue for UNESCO and it is considered as one of the 17 Sustainable development goals by the United Nations. It starts in education but it goes beyond that; it goes into the world of work and society in general. It can be seen as a problem; I rather look at it as an opportunity. Women in still male-dominated industries may face unique challenges that can make it difficult for them to succeed. These challenges can include lack of representation and stereotypes that can limit their opportunities for growth and advancement.
